HELVETICA NEUE: TYPE SPECIMEN BOOK
For this project each student was assigned a typeface for the semester. The type specimen book covers the history, analysis, and usage of the typeface throughout its lifespan. After, we created promotional posters and a web presence to sell and promote the type specimen book. We also were asked to create a sort of brand for our font to keep all of the work cohesive; for this font the idea of simplicity and genuine beauty was integral to the process. The purpose of these assignments was to learn about branding and typography through the deep study and analysis of just one typeface.
